Athlone Sub Aqua Club is holding a sponsored Fin Swim in the River Shannon on Thursday 24^th September 2009 from 6.00pm to 7.30pm. This event is being promoted by Sean’s Bar, Athlone to celebrate Arthur’s Day, the Guinness 250^th Year Anniversary. All proceeds go to Athlone Sub Aqua Club’s Search and Recovery Service. Sponsorship cards are being issued to all club members and other organisations. A free barbecue and entertainment has been organised for all card sellers immediately afterwards at 7.30pm in Sean’s Bar.
