Athlone Sub Aqua Club held a very successful AGM in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel on Sunday 1st November 2009. A large group of members attended to hear the on-going Directors present their reports and the club's audited accounts for the year. A new Board of Directors was unanimously elected as follows:

Treasurer:                  Ger Craven

Diving Officer:             Geraldine Fogarty

Training Officer:          Aidan Henry

Equipment Officer:       Stewart McMickan

PRO:                           Piaras Williams

Fund Raising Officer :   Jim Campbell

It was also decided that:

• Bernard Larkin and Sebastian Letocha would carry out the roles of Snorkelling and Competitions Officers respectively.
• Russell Brennan & Keane be retained as the clubs auditors for 2010.
• CFT delegates for 2010 would consist of Brian Duffy and Noel Cleary.
• Club subscriptions/fees would remain unchanged for 2010.
