On Saturday 6th February 2010 Athlone Sub Aqua Club provided a mornings excitement and entertainment for approximately 80 boy scouts. 7 troops from all over Ireland together with members of Athlone Scouts enjoyed a short trip to Shancurragh on the River Shannon courtesy of the club. Many thanks goes to club members Derry McMahon, Aidan Henry, Bernard Larkin and Graham Lowe for helping making this event a memorable occasion for the boy scouts involved.
