As usual Athlone Sub Aqua Club participated in this years St. Patrick's Day Parade in  Athlone. However, in a first for the club, and following a hasty departure from the Athlone parade, the club also managed to take part in the St. Patricks Day Parade in Moate.

These parades provided the club with an opportunity to showcase some of the search and recovery, rescue and water safety cover equipment that was purchased with the aid of generous financial support from the general public throughout the years.

Thanks goes to Geraldine Fogarty, Bernard Larkin, Jim Campbell, Stewart McMickan, Deborah Riley, Derry McMahon, Robbie West and Pat Wynne for organising and assisting with the club's involvement in these parades and to the many members who took part on the day.
