Athlone Sub Aqua Club has received a grant of €650 from Athlone Town Council. This grant is very much appreciated by the club as it is facing considerable financial challenges in the current economic climate. The grant will be used to help fund the  club's provision of its search and recovery, rescue and water safety cover services to the local community.
