The club's TriAthlone Water Safety Cover Co-ordinating Team has been very busy of late preparing for this years event.

This team, which consists of Stewart McMickan, Ger Craven, Jim Campbell, Bernard Larkin and Brian Duffy, are responsible for performing the following roles:

• Preparing the overall Water Safety Plan for the TriAthlone event
• Liaising with all water safety personnel in advance of the event
• Delivery of briefings to all water safety personnel
• Exercising radio control over all water safety operations during the event

Substantial progress has been made in relation to the preparation of the Water Safety Plan and liaison with other water safety personnel involved in the event is on-going.
